揀咩都好 千祈唔好揀 bba開既 econ
econ從來都唔係商業 佢係一門用黎研究社會行為既科學
商學院既 Econ 知其然而不知其所以然
bba 只係幫到係容易啲完成個課程 但完全冇技術含量 出到去可以呃得下人但係真係唔會知自己讀緊咩

can you differentiate estimator and mathematical model?

其實無咩人想睇你地討論唔關事嘅嘢。你地都已經騎劫咗好多個post，周圍騎劫其他post嚟討論只會阻住其他人。唔好同我講邊個quote邊個先，我無興趣知，你兩個都讀到postgrad就唔好表現到好似中學生咁。林作同鍾培生都識得book個時間出嚟打，你地自己諗辦法搞掂你地嘅私人恩怨。

PG Econ 嘅Micro theory 同 game theory 要用到topology 嚟理解 preference 同 fixed point

仲要non linear 嘅 MLE 同 GMM

其中一個分別係Econometrics 好著重observational data 嘅 estimation 同 inference

點解我暴大econ岩岩grad
但有一半都唔知你地講緊咩

Econometrics 係專門為經濟分析而開發既統計方法
例如，特別重視endogeneity 而產生既問題（omitted variable bias）

Econometrics 喺estimation 既貢獻（例如）有
發明instrumental variable estimation
發明Generalized method of moment estimation（證明gmm estimator係consistent 同asymptotically normal），iv estimator係special case of gmm estimator
發明extremum estimation，比m estimator 更general，gmm estimator都係special case of extremum estimator

基本上Applied Econometrics嘅research 好多都係不斷搵(睇落有關聯嘅）IV 同解釋/說服點解要用呢個IV
