Regarding Quantum Industries GTX01 Triple Guitar Case
I regret to let you know that the designer of the captioned guitar case, Mr Lee James Tsui 徐東海, is a fervent supporter of the Chinese authoritarian regime and its puppet government in Hong Kong, which suppressed democracy and used violence against its own citizen.
During the 2019-20 Hong Kong democratic movement, Mr Tsui openly supported the local police force, which terrorised largely peaceful protesters and citizen alike by deploying excessive force against anti-government protests. Facing protesters equipped with only hard hats, gas masks and umbrellas, the brutal police force unleashed lethal force, including live ammunition, rubber rounds, and unlawful use of police baton, as well as tear gas, sponge round and pepper spray. The crackdown on Hongkongers’ lawful aspiration for freedom and democracy has by now led to a few fatalities, numerous suicide cases, and a society full of trauma.
It is therefore outrageous to see Quantum Industries selling products at NAMM 2020. I wish to let you know that those products are designed by people who stands by state terrorism and autocracy, which is everything against the rock and roll spirit. People in Hong Kong are boycotting his products and we hope that you will do the same in solidarity with the freedom-loving Hongkongers.
