831倖存者「大眼義士」流亡英國新聞稿
至各大媒體：
俗稱「大眼義士」，被網民流傳名為「韓寶生」831義士王茂俊，於2020年7月17日上庭前夕，成功流亡到英國尋求政治庇護，現時則以「亡人」的臉書專頁身份活躍於網絡。網民一直流傳王義士於831事件後，被極權爪牙黑警打死，市民們並於每月30或31日太子站中拜祭王義士。王義士雖然並沒有死亡，也並不代表831事件中沒有其他人身亡。
為了保障家人、朋友及其自身安全，我於831事件發生後直至等待起訴期的留港期間，一直低調行事，直至安頓好家事和處理完流亡英國事宜，才正式對外公開行蹤，交代事件。於香港時間2020年8月31日下午14時00分，我將於其「亡人」臉書專頁以直播形式，向外展示其身份證明，其揭露於831事件當日於太子站內的所見所聞和其親身經歷，交代如何流亡至英國一事及今後的革命起義推翻暴政的計劃。
隨文附上831事件中廣泛流傳的相片、8張起訴書和臉書專頁「亡人」的自我簡介影片。現向各新聞機構正式致發邀請函，於直播完畢後接受記者的提問，如有查詢可向其臉書專頁「亡人」聯絡。我希望以自身經歷鼓勵港人，尚存一口氣都必須繼續以各種方式與極權周旋到底，直至暴政滅亡，流亡海外的各手足義士返屋企共赴煲底之約。

Dear Members of the Press,
Wong Mau-chun, known by netizens as ‘The Big-eyed Righteous’ or by his alias ‘Hon Bo-sun’, was one of the suspected casualties from the 31 August Prince Edward Station incident last year. On 17 July 2020, the eve of his scheduled court hearing, he successfully fled to the United Kingdom to seek political asylum. He now has an active online presence through his Facebook page ‘The Exiled’. After the 31 August incident, rumours circulated on the internet that Wong had been beaten to death by bloodlust-fuelled cops; this led Hongkongers to pay their respects to Wong on the 30th or 31st of every month. Although Wong survived, whether the same could be said for other victims of the 31 August incident is less certain.
In order to ensure the safety of my family, my friends and myself, I had remained silent for the period I was still in Hong Kong; from the 31 August incident and waiting for the commencement of my prosecution, to settling my personal affairs and arranging my exile to the UK, I have, to date, not publicly revealed my tracks or explained my story. On 31 August 2020 at 14:00pm (Hong Kong Time), I will be streaming live from my Facebook Page: after showing evidence of my identity, I will reveal my accounts of the events during the 31 August incident, how I fled to the UK, and even my ideas as to how this tyranny could be overthrown.
Attached to this text are photos that were widely circulated after the 31 August incident, 8 statements of charges and the self-introduction video on the ‘The Exiled’ Facebook page. I hereby warmly invite members of the press to raise questions after my live streaming session; any enquiries beforehand can be directed to me through messaging my Facebook page. With my eyewitness accounts, I hope to encourage Hongkongers to fight this tyranny to the death and to never give in until it finally surrenders so that, one day, exiles like myself can honour the solemn promise of a rendez-vous back home, in Hong Kong.
