Will Spurs be looking to bring in a director of football?
Alasdair says: It makes sense to but if they can't get Luis Campos this summer then perhaps they'll wait. He's such an obvious choice but so in demand and you need a certain type of person to work with Mourinho.
Campos already has that relationship with his compatriot but whether Spurs could prise him away this summer is another thing.

What will Ledley King's new role within the coaching staff consist of?
Alasdair says: You'd imagine it will be to work with the defence but that's not been confirmed yet. He's not a like for like replacement for the departing tactical analyst Ricardo Formisinho and Sacramento can cover much of that work with his expertise. Ultimately, King is taking to full-time coaching for the first time and Mourinho will decide how he uses him. He's got previous in developing young coaches.

Any truth in the Philippe Coutinho links?
Alasdair says: Unless it's a loan deal with a manageable future fee I'd be surprised if Spurs could afford such a player during this window. I felt that Coutinho was more a Pochettino deal if it was to be done with his history with the player. He joined Inter officially just after Mourinho had left.
Tottenham could do with another playmaker though, but they'd do well to get the 28-year-old Brazilian in their price range.

What would you consider to be a good window for Spurs?
Alasdair says: As Mourinho says, making it a balanced squad, with players competing in each position, not just in a few of them. They're too reliant on a couple of players in that team. At least four new signings to address those key positions above would be a good window.
