Blackpink's concert tour of Europe in 2019 attracted great international acclaim in the media including Oriental Daily, Southern Daily, South China Morning Post, Hong Kong Economic Journal and many other cultural websites. Their song "Red" so far has met with high critical acclaim in the press, such as Japan Today, Japan Times Online, Japan News and various cultural websites. I saw their concert twice at Yokohama Stadium with my friends last year which was absolutely incredible and unforgettable. The first time we saw their concert last year, we were late. I remember I said "Look at the time. The concert will have begun." It was twenty five of ten. The concert would've started by then. They've been strutting their stuff since they were children so don't sell them short. At the end of the last encore, they bowed onstage, soaking up the applause. They received a standing ovation and thunderous applause. Blackpink and the dancers and the acrobats who were invited to perform alongside the group gave a superb performance. The choreography, the stage design, the lighting design and the light sticks were magnificent and beyond all expectations. It was a worthwhile concert that was compelling enough to see again. The group is very career-oriented. My cousin who's also very career-minded is planning on having Blackpink endorse her company's products but she'll have to make it financially worthwhile for them. The group has a worthwhile job and career. I regard music performing as a worthwhile career. After the concert, we dined in a ramen restaurant nearby. I remember the table was sticky maybe because the staff forgot to wipe it up so I asked them to wipe it up. Later, I spilt a bowl of miso soup all over the table and my trousers so I had to wipe up the spilled soup. We had a friendly chat with a lady sitting at the nearby table who told us that once upon a time, a whole village was wiped out by a catastrophic earthquake which was fascinating to hear. When I finished my bowl of ramen, I wiped my mouth on my sleeves lol amd a few tissues. There's an elegant cafe nearby of which the interior and the exterior are artistically and exquisitely designed. My cousin's husband spilt his cappuccino all over his work and down his tie the other day so he ended up wiping up this mess. I enjoy drinking coffee and chatting with the baristas there so much that I occasionally make it worth their while. Besides being an incredible musician, the group member Lisa is an avid runner. She took part in a five hundred meter race where she came second. She rose to the challenge of passing the runner who was ahead of her earlier, ran for all she was worth and dived over the finishing line. Her family, friends and loads of her fans congratulated her on having won the race as she held up the trophy. The race was the opportunity for all the best female runners in Tokyo to strut their stuff. It was truly memorable. Yesterday, I assigned four hours for practising their songs on my trumpet, cornet, trombone, euphonium, French horn and tuba. I practised worry my friends who played glockenspiel, xylophone, vibraphone, marimba, chimes, timpani (kettledrums) and celesta, all of which have definite pitch. The other week, I practised with my other friends who played triangle, tambourine, castanets, sleigh bells (jingle bells), cymbals (hi-hat, crash and ride), gongs, snare drum and bass drum, all of which have indefinite pitch. Adding these instruments makes the music more rhythmic. Saxophone, cor anglais (english horn) and clarinet are transposing instruments. Sax, clarinet amd bass clarinet are single reed instruments whereas oboe, cor anglais, bassoon and contrabassoon are double reed instruments. Piccolo and flute are reedless instruments.
