Barcelona paid €31m for Trincao, Dortmund paid €20m for Haaland.
Trincao was signed to pay commissions for Jorge Mendes, if he fulfils his potential or not is irrelevant on this case. We can’t claim Barcelona wouldn’t buy Haaland because of Raiola when the club’s making the shadiest deals, like the one for Matheus Fernandes. The Portuguese player cost €31m plus Matheus for €7m. That’s €38m on nothing, while Dortmund paid €45m including commissions for Haaland. This kind of agreement could be reached easily with delayed payments.
Barcelona are paying €18m for a relegation striker this week, it will total the club 2020’s spend with €56m! No excuses that the club didn’t have money, they did, look at these ridiculous amateurish and/or shady deals.
Every time Bartomeu brings to the club these nothing players, I am the first to criticise the deals, not the players. It’s not their fault, but remember Wagué, Vitinho, Boateng, Murillo, Reis and other ridiculous signings? I do.
Bartomeu have signed FORTY SIX players for La Masia since 2015. Not one worked. When players like Matheus Fernandes are signed from Brazil and I see Palmeiras fans mocking the club for buying him, it’s clear what will happen.
