if I hadn't taken the CPA exam I wouldn't be working as an accounting manager now. If I had pursued a career in marketing rather than accounting my salary would be much lower. If it hadn't been for my uncle's referral my career wouldn't take off now and I wouldn't start earning a lot of money.
