I saw her live at Yokohama Arena which was absolutely incredible and unforgettable. Shes been strutting her stuff since she was a child so don't sell her short. At the end of the last encore she bowed onstage soaking up the applause. She met with a standing ovation and thunderous applause. The singer and the dancers and the acrobats who were invited to perform alongside her gave a superb performance. The choreography, the stage design and lighting design and the light sticks were magnificent and beyond our expectations. Besides being a marvelous musician shes an avid runner. She took part in a three thousand metre race in years past where she came second. She rose to the challenge passing the runner who was ahead of her earlier, ran for all he was worth and dived over the finish line. Loads of fans congratulated her on having won the race. The race was the opportunity for all the best female runners in tokyo to strut their stuff. It was truly memorable. Yesterday I assigned five hours for practicing her songs on my piccolo, flute, oboe, cor anglais (english horn), clarinet, E-flat clarinet, bass clarinet, bassoon and contrabassoon. I practised with my friends who played glockenspiel, marimba, xylophone, vibraphone, timpani (kettle-drum), celesta and chimes, all of which have definite pitch. Saxophone, cor anglais and clarinet are transposing instruments. Saxophone, clarinet and bass clarinet are single reed instruments whereas oboe, cor anglais, bassoon and contrabassoon are double.reed instruments. Flute is a reedless instrument. My friend Paul is a bassoonist. He explained to us regarding a piece by Bach "this passage should be played beautifully rather than rhythmically. Otherwise it's a bit cheap. I saw lots of his pencil marks on the score such as: cantabile, silence, no pause here, just separate, clean pedal, more melodic voicing, remain soft, stay soft, quiet, hear tenor, clearer, articulate, in time, silvery soft, gentler, take time...Regarding teaching he said "I prefer payment in blocks. My students pay monthly or pay for four lessons at a time. For this month it's ok to pay on a lesson-by-lesson basis because maybe you wanna see what it's like to have lessons. From next month onwards pay monthly. Students of all standards are welcome. I'm also an accompanist who accompanies instrumentalists, singers, dancers and other performers for exams, auditions and live performances. Some of my adult students started learning the piano when they were eighteen. Their fingers is less dextrous and slower than say a ten year old child. So start training your fingers when you're still very young. In this way you're gonna be able to get much faster fingers. It'll improve your finger speed, strength, accuracy and dexterity to a great extent." Paul asked me to get him some Haydn scores as I can get them on the cheap from a friend of mine. We watched a kickboxing match in which John hit chris with a cheap shot after he lost to chris. We watched comedy show as well which was full of cheap laughs. The comedian is famous for his vulgar manner and wearing a vulgar suit. His grandfather was a cheap gangster and liar. His jokes and jibes were cheap and vulgar.
