Hi world, do you know why Lihkg picked up Li Pig and Li dog as mascot? It is because 2017 is the lunar new year of dog, and 2018 is the lunar new year of pig so those cute cute icons are created here.

Also, it is a slang that call 'Hong Kong pig' for those HK people only aim at earning money and do not concern about other aspects like politics , you now can call those as Hong Kong pig, maybe it is the reason why Li pig replaced Li dog as the most popular icon on Lihkg on my opinion.
