Dear Sirs,
I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against a registered physiotherapist Yuen Tsz Wai, Max with registration number PT101928 ("the Physiotherapist").
This complaint is related to a recent statement posted in the social media by the Physiotherapist. The link and the screenshot of the statement are attached for your reference.

This statement followed a demonstration on 11 August 2019 where a female protester was shot by the Hong Kong Police's bean bag round, causing serious rupture of the unfortunate protester's right eye. This incident was such a tragedy which warrants extreme sorrow and sympathy for the protester's misfortune. However, in my utmost detestation, the Physiotherapist made the following statement which I shall translate and cite as follows ("the Statement"):-
"爆眼條女就正啦 有錢收完條仔又可以多個窿玩 申利想玩"
Translation "The female who had her eye bursted must be delighted, since she will be paid and her boyfriend will have an extra hole to play with. Disclaimer: I would like to play (the hole)"
According to paragraph 1 of Part 1 of the Code of Practice of the Physiotherapist Board of Hong Kong, "A registered physiotherapist shall respect the rights and dignity of all individuals". In any fair reading of the Statement, it not only incites disgusting and degrading comments towards the female protester, but also tramples the dignity of the female protester in terms of her injury and gender. Such Statement must be directly contravening the quoted Code of Practice.
In any event, the Statement reflects the Physiotherapist's corrupted morals, which must be deemed unfit and dangerous for a medical profession such as a physiotherapist. In order not to bring the profession of registered physiotherapist into disrepute, I strongly urge your Board to condemn such behaviour by the Physiotherapist, and to suspend and strike off the Physiotherapist's qualification as a registered physiotherapist.
Thank you for your kind attention.
Yours faithfully,
Mr. Tsang
A Hong Kong Citizen
