Dear members of HKUST,
You are sincerely invited to a forum I am going to host at 6pm on August 22, 2019 (Thursday).
Hong Kong has undergone unprecedented challenges recently. HKUST, as a university, is a place for diverse opinions, open exchanges and independent thinking. While we all have our viewpoints, it is important that we exercise mutual respect and listen to each other. With this in mind, I would like to invite all HKUST students, staff, faculty, and alumni to get together to have a dialogue on the current situation in Hong Kong.
In view of the busy schedules of different members, the forum will be held in an evening to accommodate as many as possible. Details are as follows:
Date: August 22, 2019 (Thursday)
Time: 6 to 7:30 pm
Venue: Citi Lecture Theater (LT A)
Basic language: English
Registration: https://president-forum.ust.hk/registration.php
The forum is exclusively reserved for the HKUST community. Please register if you would like to join us. Upon successful registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a QR code for admission. Please bring the confirmation email or your HKUST ID card to the registration counter on site. If you are interested but cannot come, you can view live streaming via the HKUST Website’s main page (www.ust.hk).
