Assistant Project Officer (PR254/16-17)

The appointee will be part of the dynamic Internationalisation and External Relations team to provide support in content marketing and promotion of various School initiatives. Key responsibilities include: (a) managing content calendar; developing and engaging insight-driven social media content in Chinese and English; (b) supporting website development and enhancement initiatives for the School and programmes; (c) project-management of digital and marketing campaigns including vendor management; (d) compiling project and evaluation reports; (e) supporting School-level events, productions and ad-hoc projects; and (f) performing other duties as assigned.
Applicants should possess (i) a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with at least two years of digital marketing experience; (ii) working proficiency in social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc), Google Analytics, trends and best practices; (iii) positive "can-do" attitude, strong problem-solving, interpersonal and organisational skills; (iv) experience in communications agency and knowledge about the higher education sector will be an advantage; (v) proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML and CSS will be a plus. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Project Co-ordinator II(s) (carrying the job title of ‘Digital Content Officer’)
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology or Creative Media, or related disciplines; (ii) at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience in managing web/digital projects and contents; (iii) up-to-date knowledge of the latest digital trends and standards; (iv) good interpersonal and communication skills; and (v) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Possession of one or more of the following skills is preferred: (1) a good understanding of higher education; (2) web writing; (3) web analytics; (4) web design; (5) front-end coding; and (6) social media planning. Duties include (a) supporting and managing the daily operations of existing online platforms; (b) planning and implementing new web projects according to the Office’s need; and (c) providing other administrative or support services as assigned. Appointment will be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
