無事啦，即時周唔到就無事
好多時都有人一個人都行個條line

同埋好多仆街都會無啦啦cut入去個條線，講緊係D實線位到入

叫條女番兩份工，自己就番一份工倒咖啡，收工仲日光日白，又可以周圍去拍片飲咖啡chill

First of all...you were following toooooo close. No matter how sudden the car in front of you stopped. Just remember to leave enough distance for sudden stop.

You will NOT be charged because the HOV lanes are not electronically monitored. Did you leave the HOV lane right away? Or you drove till the next exit? If you were caught by OPP, you probably have more than one traffic violations besides driving on HOV lane. You may be charged with failed to obey lane sign by entering HOV lane on double solid line and /or careless driving.. .

I rather let people cut in front of me than following too close.

If uou had enough distance between the car in front of you then you should enough time to make a few quick steps on the brake to warn the car behind you and slow down. The car behind should be able to stop.
I had similar situations before and I did have enough time to stop and warned the car behind me.
