2020 年 10 月26日，游學修、蘇致豪及許賢創立《試當真》 YouTube Channel，短短一年多訂閱量已近43萬人，累積觀看次數超過7200萬，更獲得 YouTube 香港 2021 年熱門創作者第一位。

三位創辦人憑著豐富創作及演出經驗，在開台初期靠著短片如《唔准...》系列及《Channel需要...》系列打響頭炮，炒熱不少金句，成為全港熱話。主打劇情短片的「試映劇場」一直深受觀眾愛戴，其中《唔通佢有男朋友》一年間累積點撃量更高達150萬次。另外，還有以創意配音說故事的「試音片」、介紹電影的「試睇電影會」、網羅不同創新題材的「試乜都得」等。台前幕後每週末更有直播節目「試當真謝票場」，與觀眾分享創作點滴，全面將影視文化帶到網絡。

2021年3月，試當真開始製作遊戲節目《試玩毛》，每集約1小時，憑著認真的製作及創意橋段，成功打破與電視台製作之間的差距，為觀眾帶來全港史無前例的大型綜藝節目。目前5集《試玩毛》累積點擊量已近500萬次，成為Channel皇牌節目之一；其中第五集《墨魚遊戲》，首播後兩星期已突破100萬觀看數。

試當真希望，試下藉著認真製作，讓觀眾擺脫對網片的既有印象，將專業一步步注入網片當中，提升作品的獨特性。
另外，試當真亦重視藝人培訓和發展，旗下藝人蘇致豪、許賢、MC$oHo & KidNey、陳苡臻、吳家忻、倪安慈、潘宗孝，出道以來亦廣受觀眾愛戴，個人社交平台的追蹤人數一直上升，除了得到廣告客戶的喜愛，跳出YouTube Channel，進軍樂壇及電視、電影界別。其中MC$oHo & KidNey 在樂壇亦取得好成績，《係咁先啦》及《Black Mirror》等歌曲，MV點閱數目均過百萬，並且佔據各大音樂平台榜單；他們更在《2021年度叱咤樂壇流行榜頒獎典禮》取得佳績，勇奪生力軍組合銀獎。

在2021年10月26日，試當真假九龍灣國際展貿中心舉辦《試當真一週年現場版》，由創新的售票方式，到創意表演橋段及內容，成功佔據各大傳媒報道版面，並贏盡口碑，成為試當真開台以來一個重要里程碑。

做完歌手做演員易轉形過演員變歌手呀嘛
不過呢首歌真係唔岩泰妹，如果係拍劇場再唱短短地既插曲可能更好
試下水溫出黎效果好先整完整版，好似趺野唔好搵咁

我知係阿修講既，但依種諗法真係好過時

歌手轉演員既時代係80-90年代，2000年打後依套已經唔太work

最主要原因係依家已經唔興「偶像歌手」，依加香港人鍾意既都係好有自己風格、有自己創作能力，鍾意indie既亦多左好多

重諗住「紅」歌繼而帶「紅」人係僥倖心態，而我亦唔覺得試當真既production studio 有能力整到首好紅既歌去捧紅人。《係咁先啦》可能俾到個錯覺佢地做得到，但首歌受歡迎係有好多偶然

點會唔興偶像歌手
睇下Mirror，Collar，除左Ian，Jer，其他創作能力都麻麻地，唱功直頭一坺屎。
不過Serrini、林家謙、MC、Tyson Yoshi紅係你所講既地方。
泰妹都尚算素人，都唔想攻擊咁大力，但根本問題係唱得唔夠好聽
啲片view數升唔返一樣亦然，就係唔夠好睇

屌你老味首新歌難聽到咁都夠膽死出本身仲以為係劇情片加首歌。。。

上次康泰深刻純粹係奇招取勝 你估真係好唱得咩 甚至我覺得佢兩個都唔適合rap以前黃雨紅雨好聽唔通就搵許賢出歌咩

成功一次就照辦煮碗交啲咁嘅貨出嚟 屌你成個channel啲人唔係聾㗎下話仲話嚟緊有新廠牌搞音樂唔好又用‘’試’’嚟過骨 係真係好撚難聽都唔講你啲片有幾悶

咁rap又可以試下
你睇下香港最紅嘅rap係米奇老味 光頭幫 係咁先啦呢啲都比班地下hip hop友屌到仆街 所以要紅根本唔使咁高技術

係，最主要做歌手易上位過演員好多，唱到成Pat屎咁都可以紅，但演員就算演技好好機會都未必多，歌手門檻低好多，就算呢首歌唔紅我作完派台放上YouTube都好快，唔掂咪下一首，電影電視劇快極都要半年先一套
近兩年港產片開始復甦，但都講唔出有邊個演員帶挈到發圍，fish劉俊謙應該已經算最紅果幾個？但拍埋上面果堆都差九條街
