The Lakers are hiring Atlanta Hawks assistant Chris Jent to become the top assistant coach, sources tell ESPN. New coach Darvin Ham recruited Jent over the past week to lead his staff. Jent has a strong history with LeBron James from early Cleveland years.

6月20日，據美媒報導，湖人有意得到巫師球星Bradley Beal。
Beal與巫師的合同還剩一年，為3726萬美元的球員選項，Beal可以選擇執行球員選項留在巫師，也可以跳出球員選項成為完全自由球員。
