I will go one step further. Go to Northern Ireland - a child who was born in the island of Ireland (including Northern Ireland) will get Irish citizenship if one of his parent is a British Citizen at the time of his birth.
Having Irish citizenship means that the child will enjoy the freedom of movement within the EU post Brexit. Also, Irish citizenship can be pass down to future generations in a much easier manner than British Citizenship.
