TSMC’s N7P uses the same design rules as the company’s N7, but features front-end-of-line (FEOL) and middle-end-of-line (MOL) optimizations that enable to either boost performance by 7% at the same power, or lower power consumption by 10% at the same clocks.

見d review都唔太見到有呢個效果

The new 3000XT family of processors focuses mostly on boosting the turbo frequency by 100-200 MHz for the same power. AMD states that this is due to using an optimized 7nm manufacturing process. This is likely due to a minor BKM or PDK update that allows TSMC/AMD to tune the process for a better voltage/frequency curve and bin a single CPU slightly higher.

但都可以係amd果邊 上個光刻用爛左 有d位改好dd 刻好dd
易bin左高freq

tsmc d人熟手左 印出來效果好左 刻得好左

低睇perf就唔太似成個制程轉左去個新嘅
同以前d cpu core/athlon 果d 後期比早期好超左 stepping唔同左only/bin 左d高freq cpu

應該7nm duv成熟左

成熟 (+100Mhz)


anyway 呢d refresh嘢
以前都係2家鬥得激烈果陣先會出
k8 3800+出到6000+ / intel c2d e8200出到e8700
幾個月又出幾粒 又推dd freq
然後又fade out 舊果粒 新果粒同價頂上
都係比d marketing做下嘢 提高下競爭力

反正之後AMD好依賴tsmc
Samsung同NV簽左大單 冇理由AMD會想拎少少***產能

純粹唔覺得amd會為左粒zen2
拎筆錢去轉制程 然後又賣得半年
反正zen3 on track
今年q4底/明年q1頭就賣

都要有產品做試水

zen3好似係n7p/n7+
都係相對成熟
唔一定要試水溫喇

同埋有gpu去試n5

Navi10就N7P
之前台灣個邊傳過zen3上N6

就算N6要改DESIGN RULE
但都唔係好似N5咁 一個Full node new develop咁新
相對上 唔係好洗搵白老鼠咁

揾navi 20最低階粒chip試咪ok
之前都有做過了
