I saw Blackpink live at Saitama Super Arena with my friends twice which was absolutely incredible and unforgettable. It was a worthwhile concert that was compelling enough to see again. i remember we were late. I said "look at the time. The concert will have begun" It was quarter past eight. The concert wiuksve started by then. They've been strutting their stuff since they were children so don't sell them short. At the end of the last encore they bowed onstage soaking up the applause. They received a thunderous ovation. Blackpink and the dancers and acrobats who were invited.to perform alongside blackpink gave a magnificent performance. The stage and lighting design, the light sticks and the choreography were superb and surpassed our expectations. My cousin is planning on having them endorse his company's products but he'll have to make it financially worthwhile for them. They're very career-oriented. On top of being an incredible singer, Lisa is also an avid runner. She took part in a five hundred meter race where she came second. She rose to the occasion, ran for all she was worth and dived across the finish line passing the runner who was ahead of her earlier. Loads of fansamd her family congratulated her on having won the race as she held up the trophy. The race was the opportunity for all the best female runners in seoul to strut their stuff. It was truly memorable. Yesterday I assigned six and a half hours for practising their songs on my trumpet, cornet, trombone, euphonium, french horn and tuba. I practised with my friends who played tambourine, castanets, triangle, gongs, sleigh bells (jingle bells), snare drum and bass drum, all of which have indefinite pitch. Adding these instruments makes the music more rhythmic. Saxophone, clarinet and cor anglais ate transposing instruments. Flute is a reedless instrument. Saxophone, clarinet and bass clarinet are single reed instruments. whereas oboe, cor anglais, bassoon and contrabassoon are double reed instruments. Paul is a bassoonist. He explained to us regarding a piece by Clementi "this passage should be played lyrically rather than rhythmically. Otherwise it's a bit cheap." I saw lots of his pencil marks on the score such as cantabile, silence, no pause here, just separate, clean pedal, more melodic voicing, remain soft, stay soft, quiet, hear tenor, clearer, articulate, in time, silvery soft, gentler, take time....Regarding teaching he said "I prefer payment in blocks. My students pay monthly or for four lessons at a time. For this month it's ok to pay on a lesson by lesson basis because maybe you wanna see what it's like to have lessons. From next month onwards pay monthly. Students of all standards are welcome. I'm also an accompanist who accompanies singers and instrumentalists for auditions, exams and live performances. Some of my students started listening bassoon when they're eighteen. Their fingers are less dextrous and slower than say a ten year old kid. So start training your fingers when you are still very young so that you can get much faster fingers. It'll increase your finger dexterity, speed, strength and accuracy" Paul wants me to get him some Ravel scores as I can get them on the cheap from a friend of mine.
