Newcastle United’s Dutch star Jetro Willems has been ruled out for the rest of the season - according to reports in Holland.

The left-wing-back twisted his knee in the home game against Chelsea at the weekend and is believed to have suffered cruciate damage.

Whether Newcastle end his loan deal with Eintracht Frankfurt and look again at his future at another stage remains to be seen.

But after tearing ligaments suggestions in his homeland are that he could be out for six to nine months.
