I remember seeing Tigers vs White Sox live at a stadium where I placed a bet on the result of the match. I bet one million two hundred forty five thousand five hundred yen on Tigers. I remember the two ladies beside me were also putting bets on which team would win the championship. I said to them "I bet you twenty seven yen that Tigers will win" and it really happened. It was unforgettable. Though baseball isn't very popular in hong kong, it's being offset by an increase in the marketing and promotin of the sport. After the match I dined at a ramen restaurant nearby. I remember the table was sticky maybe because the staff forgot to wipe it up so I asked them to wipe it up. Later I spilt a bowl of miso soup all over the table and my trousers so I had to wipe up the spilled soup. I had a friendly chat with a lady sitting at a nearby table who told me once upon a time an entire village was wiped out by a Super gigantic earthquake. Fascinating. When I finished my meal I wiped my mouth on my sleeves lol and tissues. There's an elegant cafe nearby of which the interior and the exterior are artistically and exquisitely designed. My friend spilt a cappuccino there the other day so he ended up wiping this mess up lol. I enjoy drinking coffee and chatting with the baristas there so much that I occasionally make it worth their while.
